Description: This course emphasizes active command of Japanese, enhancing basic skills for listening, speaking, reading and writing. Student will be able to carry on a daily life conversation with Japanese speakers on topics of personal experience, interests, school life, vocation or travel plans. They learn additional 87 Kanji, read and write short passages. New grammar points, wide-ranging vocabulary and social culture components are also introduced. This course is the continuation of Japanese for Beginners I (JAPN 101). It covers Lessons 7 through 12 in the textbook GENKI Volume I.
