Japanese for Beginners I

Description

This course is designed for students with little or no previous experience of Japanese. It is an introduction to modern oral (spoken) and written Japanese. Students will learn Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji (Chinese characters). They also learn basic grammar points and vocabulary to develop four basic language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing. Japanese cultural components are also introduced. The course covers the first six lessons in the textbook GENKI Volume I.
